This clock was bought to replace one I had purchased in Branson Missouri years ago. While NOTHING can replace that little clock, it's ATTACHMENT to my previous "late wife" Princess; and, its SENTIMENTALITY! Life does; AFTER ALL, GO ON! I did not know! What to expect when I got this clock and could not figure out why such a big box! For a little Quartz Cuckoo; but, I'm telling you! The picture on Ken and Denise's website does ABSOLUTELY! NO JUSTICE to this "Stunning" little reproduction. The "Little Revolving Dancers" is an ADORABLE Special touch! I hung this little "Heirloom" with a screw NO little nail; as, it surprisingly "Heavy & Well Crafted"! ONCE AGAIN the Crafters in Germany's Black Forest have "OUTDONE themselves ONCE AGAIN! I'm INDEED so HAPPY with this "Adorable Little Cuckoo Clock"! just thought it would include a cover for the battery compartment. We visited Black Forest, Germany and the amazing Clock Shop in October, 2016. Hard to describe the massive assortment of clocks and other gifts. The personnel were pleasant and so helpful with information. We purchased three clocks and after returning home ordered another for Christmas gifts! We enjoy, and are reminded every hour, of our fabulous trip there! Keeps perfect time! PS: You have to go upstairs and enjoy the Black Forest cake and coffee!!
